Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential international chemicals manufacturer in the search for a sales professional covering either Switzerland or Germany. In this role, you will build sustainable customer relationships and prepare technically sound proposals from initial contact through to quotation and order processing. You will actively expand the customer base, identify market and competitive opportunities early, and serve as the direct liaison between clients and production facilities. Additional responsibilities include analyzing sales data, preparing structured reports and presentations, and maintaining consistent follow-up on outstanding proposals.

What We're Looking For

Our client requires demonstrated industry knowledge in electroplating chemistry—this is a mandatory requirement. You must have several years of experience in technical sales, ideally within electroplating chemistry or closely related fields. A commercial or technical qualification or equivalent practical experience is expected. Strong communication skills, closing orientation, negotiation confidence, and proficiency with MS Office are essential. You should demonstrate pronounced customer and service orientation, be willing to roll up your sleeves when needed, and be comfortable with regular travel within your sales territory.

Territory-specific requirements:

• Switzerland territory: fluent French, good English
• Germany territory: fluent German, English advantageous, German residence permit mandatory
