Senior Cloud Engineer (Multiple)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential cloud consulting organization based in Central London that specializes in secure, large-scale cloud transformations for public and private sector clients. Our talent team is seeking multiple Senior Cloud Engineers to join their customer-facing delivery teams.

This role requires travel to client sites in London up to 3 days per week, with flexibility varying by project and customer needs. Due to the nature of their client base, SC clearance is required. You do not need active clearance to apply, but you must be eligible to pass SC vetting upon joining. The ability to obtain DV clearance in future is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex cloud transformation initiatives working directly with senior client stakeholders
• Design and deliver production-ready cloud platforms, operating models, and security frameworks
• Build cloud infrastructure using Terraform and work with a wide range of AWS services
• Implement solutions that address critical security risks in cloud environments
• Operate multi-tenant platforms at scale within highly regulated environments
• Work with CI/CD pipelines to support full lifecycle delivery
• Apply SRE principles to enterprise-scale platform operations

What We're Looking For

• Strong conceptual grasp of platform and infrastructure engineering fundamentals
• Hands-on experience building, testing, packaging, deploying, and operating enterprise-scale cloud platforms
• Deep Terraform and infrastructure-as-code automation skills with clear views on structure and best practices
• AWS experience is highly beneficial; strong engineers with Azure, GCP, or multi-cloud backgrounds are equally welcome if fundamentals are solid
• Understanding of landing zones and centralized platform concepts (any cloud provider)
• Solid grasp of secure, scalable, and resilient architecture patterns
• Experience with risk prevention, detection, and remediation in cloud environments
• Full-lifecycle delivery experience in team environments
• Networking, data, and identity experience are strong advantages
• Technical curiosity and a growth mindset—engineers who build and tinker beyond work hours thrive here
• Eligibility for SC clearance (ability to obtain DV clearance is a plus)

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: £70,000 - £95,000, with discretionary bonuses including performance bonus, security clearance bonus for certain clearances, and utilization bonus. Periodic share option schemes may also be offered.
