Operations & Maintenance Engineer (m/f/d) part time

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential GreenTech organization in Hamburg that is pioneering renewable energy infrastructure technology. As an Operations & Maintenance Engineer working part-time (20-30 hours per week), you will be responsible for the technical operation and upkeep of an innovative renewable energy installation.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Conducting inspections and maintenance across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, including monitoring hydraulic components and fluids
• Diagnosing technical issues, resolving faults, and documenting solutions and root causes systematically
• Developing and refining maintenance schedules, spare parts inventories, and technical service documentation as this technology evolves
• Managing on-site spare parts in a structured and reliable manner
• Working independently to ensure reliable system operation with flexibility to accommodate occasional early morning, evening, or weekend maintenance windows

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate brings:

• A technical qualification in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, energy technology, or a comparable technical discipline
• Practical hands-on experience maintaining and repairing technical systems or machinery
• Solid understanding of hydraulic systems with the ability to independently diagnose technical relationships and potential issues
• Availability for 20-30 hours per week with schedule flexibility
• A solution-oriented mindset and the ability to work calmly under pressure when addressing technical problems
• Comfort working directly with equipment outdoors in an active logistics environment
• Ability to read technical drawings, hydraulic schematics, and electrical circuit diagrams (preferred)
• Strong sense of responsibility and independence in technical work
