About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential food-tech organization in München seeking an experienced Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Manager to take full ownership of their hiring function. This is a central, strategic role for someone who views recruiting as both a craft and a business lever—not just a task to complete.

You'll be responsible for end-to-end recruitment across all functions and seniority levels, from individual contributors to leadership positions. Beyond filling roles, you'll actively shape how talent acquisition evolves strategically and operationally within a fast-paced, results-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage complete recruiting cycles for diverse roles across functions and seniority levels
• Serve as a strategic advisor to hiring managers, leadership, and C-level executives from role definition through final hiring decisions
• Conduct structured, competency-based interviews with a focus on quality and fairness
• Execute active sourcing strategies to proactively identify and engage talent
• Deliver an outstanding candidate experience even under tight timelines
• Co-design the talent acquisition function in collaboration with senior leadership—structurally, procedurally, and strategically
• Own and optimize the recruiting funnel: define metrics, improve conversion rates, identify bottlenecks, and continuously refine processes
• Build strategic talent pools for frequently needed profiles
• Develop and implement active search strategies
• Manage recruiting tools and systems from selection through optimization
• Establish external partnerships that strengthen recruiting effectiveness

What We're Looking For

• Proven recruiting experience, ideally across multiple functions and seniority levels
• Strong understanding of structured, data-driven recruiting processes and active sourcing techniques
• Confidence and negotiation skills when working with demanding stakeholders up to executive leadership
• Ability to balance deep operational execution with strategic overview
• Resilience and composure when managing multiple critical searches simultaneously under pressure
• Analytical mindset regarding funnel metrics, conversion rates, and process quality
• Commitment, consultative strength, and courage to make difficult recommendations when needed
• Excellent German and English language skills
