Senior Quality Manager (all genders)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential aerospace client based in Munich, and they need a Senior Quality Manager to define, build, and implement Quality, Compliance, and HSE processes across the organization. You will own the end-to-end quality process and play a critical role in developing a robust quality management system that meets aerospace standards and regulatory requirements.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing an efficient, robust quality management system compliant with aerospace standards and regulatory requirements
• Introducing and harmonizing efficient QMS processes, including integration into ERP/MES systems
• Implementing, assuring, and further developing standards and certifications such as AS/EN9100
• Managing internal, external, and customer audits from planning through CAPA measures
• Collaborating with supply chain management to ensure supplier product and process quality requirements
• Establishing streamlined quality processes to meet day-to-day operational requirements
• Serving as the interface to customers, certification bodies, and authorities for quality-related topics
• Promoting a culture of quality and safety across the organization

What We're Looking For

Our client requires a quality professional with deep aerospace industry knowledge:

• 5–7 years of professional experience in quality management
• Degree in Engineering or a related technical field
• Extensive experience in aircraft development programs, demonstrating industry-specific knowledge and expertise
• In-depth knowledge of aerospace quality standards (AS/EN9100) and regulations (LBA, EASA)
• Strong understanding of QMS, Audits, CAPA, and HSE Management
• Ability to integrate QMS with other company systems such as ERP
• Outstanding people skills, including empathy and strong interpersonal capabilities
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with strong planning abilities for working with diverse stakeholders including customers and regulatory bodies
• Fluency in both German and English, with advanced negotiation skills in both languages
