Event Manager (Physical & Digital Formats) – Financial Industry

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential fintech organization seeking an experienced Event Manager to design and deliver exceptional experiences for finance professionals. This role offers the opportunity to break away from traditional industry event formats and create both physical and digital experiences that truly engage and inspire.

Based in Frankfurt am Main, you'll own the complete event lifecycle—from initial concept through execution and analysis—working with marketing, sales, and senior leadership to ensure every touchpoint reflects innovation and delivers measurable value.

Responsibilities

Physical Events

• Conceive and produce innovative event formats ranging from networking sessions to interactive experiences that challenge typical finance-industry conference norms
• Manage comprehensive logistics including venue sourcing, budgeting, vendor negotiation, catering, AV/production, travel coordination, and on-site execution
• Oversee events from initial concept through delivery and post-event follow-up
• Coordinate and support events across multiple locations and assist with international client initiatives

Digital & Hybrid Formats

• Plan and produce webinars, virtual panels, livestreams, and hybrid events
• Develop engaging digital formats beyond standard webinars, such as interactive Q&A sessions, virtual roundtables, podcast-style discussions, and on-demand content series
• Coordinate speakers, manage run-of-show, conduct tech rehearsals, and moderate live digital sessions
• Optimize formats for audience engagement, retention, and lead generation

Internal Events & Culture

• Plan and support company-wide initiatives including anniversary celebrations and team events
• Contribute to building strong organizational culture through engaging event experiences

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of event management experience with exposure to financial services, professional services, or B2B corporate environments
• Proven track record producing both physical and digital/hybrid events
• Experience with webinar and virtual event platforms
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events and stakeholders simultaneously
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities, with talent for building strong client relationships
• Hands-on, proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a flair for unconventional and memorable event experiences
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and German
• Genuine interest in making finance-industry events bold, human, and memorable
