Sales Director – Electric Aviation (all genders)

Responsibilities

Our talent team is representing a confidential electric aviation organization based in Munich. In this senior sales leadership role, you will:

• Initiate and lead the full sales cycle for aircraft deals, including drafting proposals, letters of intent, memoranda of understanding, and purchase contracts
• Negotiate complex agreements with B2B customers and strategic partners to close high-value transactions
• Own and manage the complete sales pipeline, tracking opportunities from initial contact through contract signature
• Represent the organization at customer meetings, industry conferences, and partner events
• Gather market intelligence and customer requirements, then communicate these insights internally to inform product development priorities
• Translate technical engineering capabilities into customer-facing value propositions and communicate buyer needs back to technical teams
• Manage delivery schedules and maintain oversight of the growing global order book
• Mentor technical sales managers and contribute to building out the commercial team structure, processes, and training programs

What We're Looking For

• At least 5+ years of proven aviation experience in a commercial role, ideally with an aircraft OEM selling aircraft, or alternatively with a lessor, airline, or MRO provider
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across technical and executive stakeholders
• Strong organizational and planning capabilities paired with analytical thinking and adaptability
• Hands-on approach with high emotional intelligence, attention to detail, and personal integrity
• Creative problem-solving mindset with proactive initiative
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively for customer meetings and industry events
• Passion for sustainable aviation technologies and next-generation propulsion systems

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: €90,000 – €100,000 per year.
