As Senior Embedded DevOps & Engineering Platform Engineer, you will design, build, and operate the cloud infrastructure and automation systems that enable model-based design, simulation, verification, validation, and certification activities. You'll work at the intersection of software engineering, systems engineering, IT operations, and aerospace certification—establishing the technical backbone for regulated product development.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable engineering platforms supporting cross-functional development teams
• Administer cloud-based infrastructure with focus on security, availability, backup, disaster recovery, and monitoring using Infrastructure-as-Code principles
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for software, models, simulations, and test artifacts with automated quality gates and traceability workflows
• Integrate MathWorks toolchains (MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, Embedded Coder, Simulink Test) into automated development lifecycles
• Build tooling and workflows supporting aviation certification standards including DO-178C and DO-330 compliance
• Automate traceability between requirements, models, source code, test cases, and verification evidence
• Enable automated SIL, PIL, and HIL verification pipelines using technologies such as Speedgoat and Simulink Real-Time
• Implement DevOps best practices, release management, and configuration management processes across the organization
• Serve as primary interface between engineering teams and corporate IT, aligning tooling with cybersecurity and governance requirements
• Provide technical leadership on development infrastructure and automation strategies

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related technical discipline
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Software Infrastructure roles
• Proven experience in safety-critical or regulated industries (aerospace, automotive, medical devices, railway, or industrial automation)
• Hands-on expertise with CI/CD technologies: Git, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and Docker
• Strong scripting and development skills in Python, Bash, and PowerShell
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog
• Working knowledge of security and compliance practices including IAM, secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and DevSecOps
• Hands-on experience with MathWorks toolchain components (MATLAB, Simulink, Embedded Coder, Requirements Toolbox, System Composer)
• Experience with Model-Based Development (MBD) and automatic code generation workflows
• Familiarity with verification technologies: SIL, PIL, HIL, automated regression testing, test management, and requirements traceability
• Systems thinking with ability to build engineering ecosystems and translate needs into scalable technical solutions
• Strong communication skills across engineering, IT, and management stakeholders
• Highly organized and quality-focused mindset suitable for regulated environments
• Experience with DO-178C compliant development, certification audits, MBSE/SysML, or aircraft systems development is highly desirable
