Werkstudent:in HR & KI Operations (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential consulting organization in Cologne that is building a hybrid approach to HR operations. As a working student in HR & Operations, you will support the daily operation of people processes and help bridge traditional HR with intelligent automation.

Your role includes:

• Supporting employee lifecycle processes including onboarding and offboarding
• Maintaining document management, digitizing files, organizing records, and ensuring clean filing systems
• Managing office operations including mail, supplies, travel tickets, and day-to-day administrative tasks
• Assisting with internal company events from workshops to team gatherings
• Participating in automation initiatives and helping build intelligent tools for HR processes
• Working on-site in Cologne one to two days per week, with flexibility during exam periods

What We're Looking For

Our client needs someone currently enrolled as a student with at least two semesters remaining who brings:

• Initial exposure to HR or office environments—perhaps you've helped with onboarding, organized events, or supported administrative workflows
• Active use of AI tools for studies, projects, or organization; programming skills are not required, but you should be comfortable with basic AI functions and eager to work in an environment where this is everyday practice
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and creative problem-solving
• Initiative to ask questions while also taking ownership of tasks independently
• German at C2 level (approximately 90% of work is in German) and functional English for occasional meetings
• Ability to work in Cologne and come to the office regularly
