AI Platform Engineer (f/m/d)

We're seeking an AI Platform Engineer to join their innovative engineering team.

In this role, you'll be instrumental in building and maintaining the platform infrastructure that powers AI-driven applications. You'll work hands-on with modern technologies to create robust backend services, develop data ingestion pipelines, and build the tools that enable rapid development and deployment of AI capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate backend services and APIs that serve AI models and manage the machine learning lifecycle
• Develop and maintain data ingestion platform services and automated workflows for vector and graph databases
• Create full-stack tooling including user-facing applications and internal dashboards for platform interaction
• Implement and maintain core platform components while ensuring optimal performance of production systems
• Collaborate with software and data science teams to gather requirements and provide platform support
• Own the application and model lifecycle from development through production deployment

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Proven experience as a Software Engineer, Platform Engineer, or AI/MLOps Engineer with strong development background
• Strong proficiency in Python or Go with demonstrated ability to build scalable, production-grade applications
• Experience designing and building APIs and backend services, ideally with frameworks like FastAPI
• Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and vector databases
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) and cloud platforms, preferably AWS
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript/TypeScript and UI frameworks (React, Vue) is a significant plus
