About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential food manufacturing organization seeking a Senior National Account Manager to lead commercial growth across their Industry & Manufacturing division in the UK and Ireland. This hybrid role is based in London and offers the opportunity to drive strategic partnerships across bakery, desserts, soups, sauces, and beverage sectors.
Our client is focused on delivering innovative food solutions that meet evolving consumer needs through a combination of commercial expertise and culinary innovation. You will play a vital role in expanding market presence and securing new business partnerships that generate sustainable revenue growth.
Responsibilities
- Execute growth strategy across Industry & Manufacturing sectors, identifying and pursuing new commercial opportunities
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with procurement, commercial, technical, and culinary stakeholders at leading food manufacturers
- Collaborate with Culinary, Marketing, Technical, and R&D teams to develop innovative recipes and product applications
- Drive commercial excellence through negotiations, joint business planning, pricing discussions, and long-term contract agreements
- Manage and coach a Junior Key Account Manager, fostering accountability and high performance
- Own commercial growth for a key business area generating over 45% gross margin in the UK channel
- Deliver data-driven insights to ensure sustainable revenue growth and improved customer engagement
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing strategic B2B accounts within Foodservice, FMCG, or Industry & Manufacturing sectors
- Strong track record of growing long-term commercial opportunities and building trusted partnerships
- Demonstrated commercial acumen in leading negotiations, pricing strategies, and joint business planning
- Experience understanding the complexity of manufacturing customers and their technical requirements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder influence skills with ability to work cross-functionally
- Entrepreneurial mindset with resilience and curiosity to identify new opportunities and challenge the status quo
- Genuine interest in food culture, consumer behaviour, and future food trends that shape innovation
- Understanding of how taste, nutrition, and functionality translate into meaningful consumer experiences
- Line management experience and ability to coach junior team members
