Associate Director Sustainability Sales (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential sustainability consulting firm serving the European real estate sector. In this senior sales role, you will take ownership of strategic client acquisition and development for sustainability solutions within the property industry. Your responsibilities include:

• Leading strategic business development and client acquisition for sustainability services targeting real estate organizations
• Identifying new business opportunities independently and leveraging your existing network to engage decision-makers
• Representing our client at trade shows, conferences, and industry events, positioning them as a leading sustainability partner
• Analyzing clients' strategic challenges and developing tailored solutions alongside sustainability subject-matter experts
• Managing complex sales cycles from initial contact through presentation, proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure
• Expanding existing client relationships, managing your sales pipeline, and delivering measurable contributions to growth and revenue targets

What We're Looking For

Our talent team is seeking a candidate who combines technical knowledge, communication strength, and a collaborative approach to developing solutions. Essential qualifications include:

• Completed degree or equivalent qualification, ideally in real estate, business administration, sustainability, or a related field
• Minimum six years of relevant professional experience in real estate, sustainability consulting, or sales of complex advisory and professional services
• Strong knowledge of real estate sustainability topics including ESG, decarbonization, energy efficiency, or sustainable property management
• Established network with relevant decision-makers in the real estate industry and proven success in new client acquisition
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills with confident presence at management and executive levels
• Independent, entrepreneurial, results-oriented working style with excellent German and English language skills
