Venture Lead – Marketing / eCommerce (m/w/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential venture studio based in Munich that builds and scales digital brands from the ground up. Our talent team is seeking a Venture Lead with deep marketing and eCommerce expertise to take ownership of growth for new ventures—from first click to first million in revenue.

This is not an optimization role. You will launch shops, build acquisition engines, and define brand positioning for products that don't yet exist in the market. You'll work in a no-nonsense environment with real budgets, real P&L responsibility, and a clear path to Co-Founder or CMO roles within successful ventures.

Responsibilities

• Own growth strategy and execution for new ventures, driving them from zero to significant revenue milestones
• Build and launch digital storefronts, conversion funnels, and customer acquisition systems from scratch
• Define brand positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies for new-to-market products
• Manage performance marketing campaigns with real budgets across Meta, Google, TikTok, and emerging channels
• Turn market insights into measurable conversion, prioritizing revenue over vanity metrics
• Establish marketing automation workflows that scale customer lifecycle engagement
• Take P&L ownership, ensuring every euro spent delivers trackable return

What We're Looking For

Required Experience:

• Proven track record building an eCommerce or D2C brand from zero, or playing a central role in early-stage launch
• Hands-on experience with eCommerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, or headless commerce)
• Strong performance marketing skills with deep understanding of CAC, LTV, and unit economics
• Proficiency with analytics tools (GA4, Mixpanel, Hotjar) and data-driven decision making
• Ability to write compelling copy, brief designers, and build brand systems
• Experience with marketing automation platforms (Klaviyo, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, or similar)
• Startup or venture-building experience required
• Fluent English communication skills
