About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential fintech organization that is building deal-closing technology. Our talent team is searching for a Senior Frontend/Full Stack Engineer to join an early-stage founding team with significant ownership and impact.
This is a rare opportunity to work directly with executive leadership and architect core platform components from the ground up. You will shape not only the technology and product, but also the engineering culture as the company scales.
Responsibilities
- Architect and build core parts of a scalable, distributed platform using AWS, Java, React, and TypeScript
- Develop full-stack features with a focus on frontend excellence using React and NodeJS
- Write technical specifications and participate in peer code reviews
- Implement comprehensive testing strategies including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
- Contribute to continuous integration and deployment automation
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership on technology decisions and product direction
- Work in an Agile development environment with rapid iteration cycles
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience building scalable, distributed backend systems
- Strong proficiency with React and NodeJS
- Solid experience with TypeScript
- Java experience is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience
- Proven track record working at an early-stage startup
- Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment
- Solid coding practices and commitment to quality engineering
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-aware, positive "get it done" attitude with strong empathy
- Passionate about building great products and fintech innovation
