About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential automotive technology client in search of a Staff Networking Software Engineer to define and lead software strategy for complex cellular communication systems. This is a fully remote position available anywhere in the United States.
Our client is developing next-generation vehicle connectivity solutions, and this role will provide technical leadership to execution teams while staying at the forefront of cellular and network stack technologies.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead software strategy for highly complex features and significant technology enhancements
- Provide technical leadership to development and integration teams
- Lead comprehensive design analysis of software solutions
- Lead integration and verification testing of integrated software builds
- Research emerging technologies and competitive products to inform strategic direction
- Establish and communicate best practices across the software engineering community
- Specialize in cellular communication systems, developing software and systems leveraging this technology
What We're Looking For
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 5 years of experience as a Senior or Staff Software Engineer
- OR Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 2 years of relevant experience
Required Technical Skills (2+ years each):
- System-level software development
- C and C++ programming
- Network stacks and TCP/IP networking protocols
- Full network stack development from drivers through applications
- Application-level protocols built on network stacks
- Cellular baseband systems
- Embedded operating systems and software
- Cellular application-level control systems
- Linux and iOS development

Pay
Pay via Get A Job.ai: $260,000 to $302,400 annually. Our client also offers performance-based bonus potential.
