Full Stack Software Engineer – AI Finance Agent

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization that is expanding its AI-powered financial services across multiple markets. Our talent team is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to join their product development efforts remotely from Germany.

This is a role for product-minded engineers who can move quickly across the entire stack—frontend, backend, internal tools, and customer journeys—to turn ideas into working products. You'll be building features that touch insurance, payments, savings, investing, and travel services for a high-volume consumer platform.

Responsibilities

• Build customer-facing and internal product features end to end, from conception through launch
• Develop web flows, backend APIs, admin tools, dashboards, and operational systems
• Support products across multiple financial services verticals
• Collaborate with product, design, mobile, and operations teams to launch features quickly
• Integrate third-party APIs, handle data flows, and improve production reliability
• Use analytics, user feedback, and production issues to iterate and improve features post-launch
• Build internal tools that reduce manual work and improve operational speed across the business
• Take ownership from build to launch to post-launch support and fixes

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of full stack software engineering experience
• Strong fundamentals in both frontend and backend development
• Experience with modern web frameworks, APIs, databases, and production systems
• Ability to build useful products quickly without requiring perfect specifications
• Good product sense, UX awareness, and attention to detail
• Comfortable debugging across the entire stack
• Experience in fintech, insurtech, marketplace, consumer apps, or high-volume platforms is a strong advantage
• Candidates must already be based in Germany—this role is remote within Germany only
• Strong English communication skills required for working with global teams

The ideal candidate: Can turn rough requirements into working products, thinks about user flow and backend logic together, moves fast while keeping systems maintainable, and takes clear ownership of their work from build through post-launch support.

This role is not for: Engineers who only want to work on one narrow layer, those who need complete specs before starting, developers who avoid production support, or candidates who make vague claims without showing real shipped work.
