About This Opportunity

Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential fintech client in their search for a UI Designer to join their AI-powered banking application team. This is a remote position based in Germany.

Our client is building next-generation financial products that help millions access smarter money management tools. They're expanding their product suite and need a designer who obsesses over visual quality, interaction details, and usability to craft intuitive interfaces for their mobile-first platform.

Responsibilities

• Design polished, user-centric interfaces for mobile and web financial products
• Transform product requirements into wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI
• Build intuitive experiences across insurance, payments, claims, investments, and related financial services
• Maintain and evolve the design system to ensure consistency across all products
• Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to deliver pixel-perfect implementation
• Iterate designs using user feedback, analytics, and usability testing
• Ensure accessibility, responsiveness, and visual consistency across different devices and platforms
• Contribute to improving overall product usability, interaction patterns, and visual language

What We're Looking For

• 2–5 years of experience designing digital products with a strong focus on mobile applications
• Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional visual design, interaction design, and UI craftsmanship (portfolio required—applications without one will not be considered)
• Advanced proficiency in Figma, prototyping, and modern design workflows including auto layout, components, and design tokens
• Strong understanding of mobile-first design principles, platform guidelines (iOS and Android), and responsive layouts
• Solid grasp of UX principles, information architecture, and user-centered design
• Ability to simplify complex user journeys into intuitive interfaces
• High attention to detail with strong visual hierarchy, typography, and spacing skills
• Ability to think in complete user journeys, not just beautiful screens
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation
• Ownership mentality—you solve problems rather than wait for detailed instructions
• Ability to clearly explain the rationale behind your design choices and individual contributions
• Strong English communication skills required (primary working language)
• Must be based in Germany
