Director, Business Development – Corporate Division

We are representing a confidential global organization in the language services sector, seeking an experienced Director of Business Development to join their Corporate Division in Paris. Our talent team is conducting a targeted search for a sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment and has a proven track record of building lasting business relationships.

Responsibilities

• Source and close new client relationships through referrals, cold calling, networking, trade shows, and regional business events
• Build and manage a productive sales pipeline through each phase of the business development cycle
• Cultivate long-term client partnerships by delivering exceptional service and demonstrating deep industry knowledge
• Develop and execute sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
• Generate consistent outreach efforts including direct mail, digital campaigns, and prospecting calls
• Present solutions through one-on-one meetings, group presentations, and both online and in-person formats
• Manage client expectations while consulting on best practices for their specific needs
• Negotiate pricing and contractual terms
• Travel domestically and internationally for conferences, client meetings, and business development activities

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• Minimum 3 years of successful sales experience in a similar business development role
• Superior written and spoken communication skills in French
• Demonstrated ability to articulate value propositions and competitive advantages
• Strong relationship-building skills with clients, colleagues, and business partners
• Ability to multitask and maintain composure in fast-paced, high-pressure situations
• Service-oriented mindset with commitment to exceeding client expectations
