About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential global technology solutions provider seeking a Business Development Manager to join their rapidly expanding AI data services division in Paris. This role focuses on developing new business relationships within the artificial intelligence and machine learning sector, working with prestigious technology companies worldwide that require high-quality training data for AI applications.
As part of our client's international team with operations across multiple continents, you'll drive new business development from initial lead generation through contract closure while ensuring long-term customer success.
Responsibilities
- Identify and research prospective clients in the AI and machine learning market, understanding their business and technical data requirements
- Qualify opportunities and manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
- Generate and manage high-value, profitable business agreements
- Maintain customer relationships and ensure client satisfaction and success
- Develop and implement strategic business plans for assigned accounts
- Track business opportunities using CRM systems and provide accurate weekly forecasts and daily reports
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across different time zones and cultures
- Monitor KPIs and deliver internal and client-facing status reports, including account health, risks, and opportunities
- Manage overall financial health of client engagements and drive process efficiencies
- Attend industry tradeshows and contribute to marketing initiatives including case studies and social media
- Stay current on AI industry trends and become a subject matter expert on data solutions products and services
- Propose innovative new service offerings to meet evolving market needs
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Minimum 3 years of successful B2B sales experience
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets within the AI industry
- Superior communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into business solutions
- Strong multitasking capabilities and ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments
- Experience working collaboratively with diverse, international teams across cultures and time zones
- Financial acumen with ability to manage budgets and drive profitable outcomes
- Service-focused mindset with commitment to exceeding client expectations
- High level of personal integrity and professional accountability
- Proficiency in CRM systems and sales reporting tools
- Fluency in French and English required for this Paris-based role
