Senior Partner Business Manager

About This Opportunity

We are representing a global cybersecurity organization seeking a Senior Partner Business Manager to join their expanding team in Australia. This hybrid role is based in Canberra with an expectation of three days per week in the office, reporting to senior partner sales leadership. You will be responsible for building and scaling strategic partner relationships to drive mutual revenue growth through joint go-to-market execution, enablement, and performance management.

Responsibilities

• Execute joint regional go-to-market strategies in partnership with sales leadership
• Develop and implement regional partner growth strategies and activation plans
• Lead partner enablement initiatives, sales engagement activities, and pipeline development
• Manage partner performance metrics and govern forecast accuracy
• Conduct account mapping, deal reviews, and close planning with strategic partners
• Drive co-sell motions with partners including global systems integrators, regional integrators, VARs, distributors, MSSPs, and ISVs
• Build and maintain relationships with partner leadership to align on mutual objectives
• Support service capability development within the partner ecosystem

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years of experience in partner/channel sales, strategic alliances, or regional partner management
• Deep understanding of the Australian Federal Public Sector landscape, including partner networks, procurement frameworks, and acquisition cycles
• Proven track record building joint go-to-market plans with sales teams and executing co-sell strategies
• Experience managing strategic technology partners through recruitment, activation, and performance management
• Background in network security, cybersecurity, or cloud security solutions
• Strong executive communication skills with the ability to engage and influence senior partner stakeholders
• Willingness to travel within the region to support partners and sales teams
• Demonstrated ability to operate with urgency while maintaining quality in high-growth environments
• Experience distilling complex technical concepts into clear, actionable strategies
• Track record of building scalable processes and solutions that support organizational growth

Preferred qualifications:

• Public Sector industry vertical experience
• Background developing partner services capabilities
