About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential robotics organization experiencing significant international growth. Our talent team is seeking a Senior IT Buyer to take ownership of IT procurement across a global footprint. This role sits within the Procurement team and serves as a strategic partner to internal stakeholders, helping structure and deploy IT purchasing strategies while supporting company performance and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve procurement strategy across IT categories including hardware, software, SaaS, cloud services, and professional services
• Lead consultations, negotiations, contract management, and renewals with strategic suppliers
• Structure and manage the supplier panel to optimize costs, service quality, and risk management
• Strengthen the contractual framework for IT procurement with support from legal teams
• Support internal stakeholders in identifying and fulfilling their procurement needs
• Develop performance indicators and contribute to continuous improvement of procurement processes
• Participate in defining the indirect procurement roadmap and occasionally support other corporate categories (HR, Finance, Marketing)
• Depending on experience, supervise and mentor an indirect buyer

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of experience in indirect procurement with confirmed expertise in IT purchasing
• Strong understanding of software, SaaS, cloud, IT hardware, and intellectual services procurement
• Proven experience in structuring, optimizing, or transforming procurement policies
• Solid skills in negotiation, contract management, and strategic supplier management
• Strong analytical capabilities, critical thinking, and ability to identify performance levers
• Pragmatic, results-oriented approach with focus on simple, effective, and sustainable solutions
• Passion for continuous improvement, process automation, and high-growth environments
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• French language skills required for this Lille-based position
