Senior Product Manager, New Verticals

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential on-demand marketplace client seeking a Senior Product Manager, New Verticals to join their London team. This role focuses on expanding the client's grocery and retail offering, building trusted shopping experiences that customers rely on for everyday local commerce needs.

Working at the intersection of data, design, and engineering, you'll define product direction, prioritize initiatives, and deliver outcomes that drive measurable business impact across a complex three-sided marketplace.

Responsibilities

• Own high-impact growth problems end-to-end, identifying opportunities across the customer lifecycle—from acquisition and activation to retention and monetization
• Lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, Data Science, Design, and Commercial to align on priorities and drive execution from concept to launch
• Partner with Customer Research to uncover barriers to transaction and translate insights into high-conviction growth initiatives
• Design and run controlled experiments to understand how affordability and selection influence customer behavior, validating hypotheses through rigorous data analysis
• Drive alignment and trade-offs by balancing customer experience with unit economics and marketplace dynamics, communicating clearly to senior stakeholders

What We're Looking For

• Proven ability to solve complex problems, with a talent for asking the right questions and translating ambiguity into actionable roadmaps
• High analytical fluency and significant experience being data-savvy, with the ability to diagnose performance drivers and partner effectively with Data Science teams
• Demonstrated ownership of high-velocity execution, maintaining attention to detail in environments where impact is paramount
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience navigating trade-offs across diverse disciplines including Marketing, Operations, and Engineering
• A growth mindset and resilience to learn fast, adapt to setbacks, and maintain momentum in highly experimental environments
• Experience working in product management roles within marketplace, e-commerce, or on-demand platforms is advantageous
