About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential data science and AI consulting firm seeking a UX/UI Design Intern for a 6-month placement in Paris. Our client helps organizations transform complex data into actionable business decisions through elegant, user-centered product design.

This internship offers genuine autonomy on complete projects, mentorship from a senior product designer, and hands-on experience designing interfaces that solve real data challenges. You'll work within an agile product team of approximately 30 professionals including developers, product managers, and designers who build enterprise platforms used daily by major clients.

Responsibilities

• Design user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups that guide decision-making journeys, not isolated screens
• Contribute to and evolve the organization's design system while maintaining consistency across multiple products
• Participate in UX workshops and usability testing sessions, proposing evidence-based solutions
• Collaborate closely with product designers, product owners, and development teams
• Apply design thinking methodology (double diamond) and agile practices to product development
• Create presentation materials including video and slide formats to communicate design decisions

What We're Looking For

• Education: Master's level student (Bac+5) in design, UX/UI, or interactive multimedia
• Portfolio: Demonstrating at least 3 varied projects with advanced Figma and UI expertise
• Technical skills: Deep proficiency in Figma including variables, auto-layout, and components; understanding of design systems as rule-based frameworks (familiarity with shadcn/ui or equivalent is a plus)
• Design philosophy: Ability to defend design choices with reasoned arguments, not just aesthetic preference
• Work style: Self-directed time management, proactive communication about progress and challenges, reliable with deadlines
• Industry awareness: You follow emerging products, trends in design systems, AI applications in product design, and new interaction patterns
• Bonus: Knowledge of web accessibility standards
• Tools: Experience with Jira, Figma, and Maze
• Duration: 6-month internship starting between January and March 2027
• Location: Paris, with flexible remote work policy (3 days on-site required per 15-day period)
