About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential enterprise AI technology client seeking a Sr Staff ML Forward Deployed Engineer to join their team in London. Our client is building cutting-edge generative AI solutions at scale, and we need an exceptional engineer who can drive product development across the full stack while working with the latest AI technologies.
This is a senior individual contributor role where you'll take ownership of significant product areas, working across backend systems, frontend interfaces, and ML model integration. You'll be solving complex engineering challenges in scalability and reliability while operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive large new areas within the enterprise AI platform
- Design and implement solutions across backend services, frontend applications, and LLM integrations
- Deliver high-velocity experiments and features that directly engage enterprise customers
- Work across the complete product lifecycle from initial concept through production deployment
- Rapidly learn and adopt new technologies as the AI landscape evolves
- Ensure scalability and reliability of distributed systems handling enterprise workloads
What We're Looking For
- 7+ years of full-time software engineering experience post-graduation
- Proven track record scaling products in hyper-growth startup environments
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, vector databases, and modern AI technologies
- Strong proficiency in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript, plus SQL
- Production experience with Kubernetes orchestration
- Deep familiarity with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Ability to context-switch and multi-task effectively in a dynamic environment
- Strong problem-solving skills for distributed systems challenges
