Technician Position

ExecutivePlacements.com is hiring a Technician for our Malmesbury operations in Cape Town City Centre, Cape Town Region. This is a full-time position supporting the maintenance and technical operations that keep our facility running effectively.

Position Summary

We're looking for a skilled and reliable Technician to join our plant operations team. You'll take a hands-on role in maintaining equipment and ensuring our facility operates at peak efficiency. If you have practical technical experience and the ability to work independently whilst supporting a wider maintenance team, we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on plant equipment to minimise downtime
• Diagnose technical faults and carry out repairs to restore equipment to full working order
• Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff to ensure work is completed safely and to standard
• Keep accurate maintenance records and report on equipment performance and issues
• Support the continuous optimisation of plant operations and reliability

What You Bring

• Proven experience working as a Technician or in a similar hands-on technical maintenance role
• Solid understanding of plant equipment, machinery, and standard maintenance procedures
• Ability to lead and guide maintenance team members on tasks and safety practices
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to work flexibly to support operational needs
