Product Owner (m/w/d) – Customer Domain

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare technology organization in München that operates a two-sided marketplace connecting medical professionals with healthcare facilities across Germany. Our talent team is seeking an experienced Product Owner to join their Customer Domain team and drive the evolution of their B2B booking platform.

In this role, you'll take ownership of one of the company's most critical growth drivers—the demand-side platform that enables hospitals and healthcare institutions to find, request, and book medical professionals. You'll work at the intersection of product strategy, user experience, and modern technology including AI, shaping features that directly impact healthcare delivery quality.

Responsibilities

• Own the evolution of the B2B platform, developing innovative features for hospitals and healthcare facilities from initial inquiry through booking completion
• Prioritize the product backlog based on customer needs, market requirements, and key product metrics
• Manage the entire product development process from discovery through delivery to successful release
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate market requirements into clear product decisions
• Analyze usage and booking data to derive actionable insights and continuously optimize the customer journey
• Drive the strategic implementation of artificial intelligence capabilities within the product
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, UX Design, and business stakeholders to make data-informed product decisions

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or comparable role, ideally in a B2B SaaS, platform, or marketplace environment
• Proven track record developing digital products for business customers, from product discovery through user-centric design to data-driven optimization
• Strong technical understanding sufficient to comprehend architectural decisions, evaluate trade-offs, and engage with engineering teams as a peer
• Analytical mindset with pragmatic, structured, and solution-oriented working style
• Enthusiasm for AI-powered products and modern technologies, with ability to leverage them to create product value
• Experience collaborating with Sales, Account Management, or Customer Success teams is a strong advantage
• Excellent German language skills and fluent English required
