Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential property management organization in München that is building modern software systems from the ground up. As a Product Engineer, you will develop fullstack applications in TypeScript, working across customer portals, internal management tools, and the underlying infrastructure. You'll own features end-to-end—from concept through design to deployment—sometimes working independently without dedicated design support.

You will build AI-powered product features while also advancing the development environment itself, working with modern tooling including Cursor and Claude Code. Your work will directly impact daily operations, and you'll receive immediate feedback from internal users and clients. The team operates in fixed cycles, prioritizing and building the most critical solutions.

The technical stack includes TypeScript throughout, React and Next.js on the frontend, Node.js on the backend, deployed as a monorepo on Google Cloud with infrastructure as code, PostgreSQL databases, and event-driven processes.

What We're Looking For

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in web development
  • Strong practical knowledge of TypeScript or JavaScript, ideally with React or Next.js
  • A current project you can demonstrate: production code, side project, or open source contribution
  • Comfort working across the full stack with equal enthusiasm for frontend and backend work
  • Ability to own features end-to-end and create solid interfaces when working independently
  • Active use of AI tooling in your daily workflow, with critical evaluation of results
  • Foundational understanding of databases (SQL) and API design
  • Desire to understand the "why" behind what you're building before implementation
  • German language skills at B2 level minimum

If you don't meet every requirement, we still encourage you to apply. Our talent team values learning potential and capability over credentials.
