About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential technology consulting organization seeking a Windchill Interface Specialist to join their remote team. This is a full-time, direct W2 position supporting enterprise PLM integration projects across the United States.
In this role, you will design, build, and operate integrations connecting PTC Windchill with ERP, MES, CAD, and other engineering and manufacturing systems. You'll own the technical integration layer between Windchill and the broader enterprise systems landscape, working closely with cross-functional partners including product, design, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into well-engineered solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement integrations connecting PTC Windchill with enterprise systems including ERP, MES, and CAD platforms
- Build and maintain the technical integration layer between Windchill and broader enterprise systems
- Develop solutions using Info*Engine and Windchill Java API
- Configure and optimize PLM-to-ERP data flows and integration patterns
- Work with middleware platforms to orchestrate system integrations
- Troubleshoot integration issues and maintain comprehensive documentation
- Conduct code reviews and design reviews to ensure engineering excellence
- Mentor junior engineers and raise technical standards across the team
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate ambiguous requirements into production-ready solutions
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
- 6+ years of PLM integration experience with strong focus on Windchill
- Hands-on experience with Info*Engine and Windchill Java API
- Proven experience designing PLM-to-ERP integrations (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Working knowledge of CAD integration patterns
- Experience with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, OIC, or SAP CPI
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with Windchill data model
- Experience with REST and SOAP web services
- Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- PTC Windchill certifications
- Experience with ThingWorx or IIoT integration
- Exposure to API management platforms
- Familiarity with event-driven and Kafka-based integration patterns
- Experience operating Windchill in cloud environments

Pay
Pay via Get A Job.ai: $115,000–$135,000 annually
