SEO Manager

We are representing a confidential performance marketing agency seeking an SEO Manager to join their fully remote team across the United States. Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is conducting the search for this high-impact role where you'll manage a portfolio of 4-6 SEO accounts and push the boundaries of AI-driven organic search strategies.

This position is ideal for someone with agency experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is energized by testing emerging AI search technologies. You'll work directly with clients as their trusted SEO advisor while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business results.

Responsibilities

• Drive and execute SEO strategies for multiple client accounts simultaneously
• Conduct hands-on testing and optimization for AI search engines and LLMs, implementing strategies based on real experimentation
• Lead client status calls and serve as the primary point of contact for SEO engagements
• Translate complex SEO strategies into clear, jargon-free communications for clients
• Build structured content systems including topic clusters, pillar pages, internal linking strategies, and schema markup
• Analyze performance data using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and other SEO platforms to identify trends and develop actionable strategies
• Create detailed content briefs based on audience research, keyword analysis, and competitive intelligence
• Collaborate with measurement, paid media, and creative teams to integrate SEO initiatives
• Research and implement emerging trends in search and AI technologies
• Tie SEO performance to measurable business impact and bottom-line results for clients

What We're Looking For

• At least 2 years of agency experience required; 3 years of overall SEO/marketing experience required, 5+ years preferred
• Proven track record of managing client relationships and building rapport with stakeholders
• Hands-on experience with AI search optimization—actual testing and implementation, not just theoretical knowledge
• Expert-level proficiency with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Screaming Frog
• Strong ability to develop content strategies across multiple industries and create detailed content briefs
• Demonstrated skill in translating complex data into actionable insights and business outcomes
• Experience with Generative AI and LLMs and their influence on search behavior
• Comfort with client-facing responsibilities including leading presentations and serving as the primary SEO contact
• Excellent project and time management skills with ability to manage competing priorities
• Action-oriented mentality with willingness to experiment and take calculated risks
• Adaptability and openness to feedback in a dynamic environment
