(Senior) Account Manager (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential digital marketing agency seeking a Senior Account Manager to lead client relationships and campaign delivery in Berlin.

In this role, you will:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, managing relationships independently throughout the project lifecycle
• Translate client objectives and requirements into clear briefs, timelines, and actionable next steps
• Plan and manage social media and advertising campaigns from kickoff through analysis and optimization
• Analyze performance data strategically and develop data-driven recommendations for clients
• Coordinate collaboration between creative teams, media buying/performance specialists, and external partners to ensure smooth workflows
• Maintain oversight of budgets, resource allocation, priorities, and timelines while preserving quality and momentum
• Support new business development by identifying prospects, conducting initial conversations, qualifying leads, and guiding opportunities through to proposal stage

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 3 years of experience in project or account management for digital marketing initiatives, ideally within an agency environment
• Strong familiarity with social advertising and performance marketing processes, with proven ability to guide both teams and clients through campaigns
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively and track timelines, budgets, and dependencies
• Clear, professional, and empathetic communication style with both internal teams and external stakeholders
• Ability to document requirements precisely and create briefs that enable creative and media teams to execute immediately
• Hands-on mentality with strong initiative and sense of ownership
• Comfort with business development, including relationship building, consultative selling, and identifying growth opportunities
• Fluent German (C2 level) and very good English language skills required
