(Senior) UX Researcher (all genders)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential e-commerce organization seeking a Senior UX Researcher to join their product team. In this role, you will:

• Plan and execute research projects across the full spectrum, from foundational studies informing immediate product decisions to strategic work shaping long-term user experience vision
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and engineers across multiple product areas, engaging early in the problem definition phase
• Own research projects end-to-end: scoping questions, selecting methodologies, conducting studies, and translating findings into clear, actionable recommendations
• Combine qualitative and quantitative methods including user interviews, usability testing, surveys, unmoderated testing, and behavioral/market data analysis
• Leverage AI tools in daily research work and help shape team adoption of emerging technologies
• Contribute to the research repository to make insights reusable and accessible across teams
• Conduct competitive benchmarking and triangulate findings with primary customer research to identify opportunities
• Run workshops and design formats that help insights travel across the organization, following through until findings influence decisions

What We're Looking For

• Native or near-native German language skills and fluent English, as the majority of customer and seller interviews are conducted in German
• Several years of experience in qualitative and quantitative user research with in-depth expertise in UX methods
• Comprehensive understanding of customer-centric agile product development processes
• Strength in either qualitative or quantitative research with active development in the other area, plus solid understanding of statistical methods and analytical thinking
• Experience conducting research at different stages of product development (generative, solution validation, end-to-end)
• Proactive approach with comfort taking ownership and presenting findings to stakeholders at all levels
• Pragmatic approach to scoping work, balancing speed and depth appropriately for each decision
• Current use of AI tools in research practice
• Enjoyment of working in collaborative, close-knit teams where knowledge sharing is valued
