Electrician (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential robotics organization based in Stuttgart. They are seeking an experienced Electrician to support the assembly, installation, and optimization of advanced automation systems. This is a hands-on role that combines workshop-based electrical work with on-site commissioning, offering exposure to cutting-edge industrial robotics applications.

As the successful candidate, you will wire and test electrical components, commission systems in laboratory and customer environments, and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Build and wire electrical systems for robotic installations, including control cabinets and field wiring
• Support commissioning activities in the robotics lab and at customer sites
• Collaborate with mechanical and software engineers to ensure correct system integration
• Implement technical improvements and modifications based on project feedback
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults during development and deployment phases
• Travel to customer locations for installation and support (approximately 25-50% travel)

What We're Looking For

• Completed technical training as a State-certified Technician in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Automation, or a comparable vocational qualification such as Electrician, Control Cabinet Builder, or Electrical Master
• Certified to perform electrical work (Elektrofachkraft – EFK)
• Relevant professional experience in automation or robotics preferred
• Experience with electrical installations, control systems, sensors, and actuators
• Hands-on mentality with strong technical craftsmanship
• Basic knowledge of EPLAN or Splan is a plus
• Valid Class B driver's license (EU)
• Willingness to travel 25-50% of the time
