About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential robotics company that is pushing the boundaries of intelligent automation in industrial environments. Our talent team is seeking a skilled Electrician to join their engineering operations, supporting the installation, testing, and deployment of advanced robotic systems.
This is a hands-on role where you'll work at the intersection of electrical systems and cutting-edge robotics technology—both in the lab and at deployment sites.
Responsibilities
- Build and wire electrical systems for robotic applications, including control cabinets and field installations
- Support system commissioning activities in laboratory settings and at customer facilities
- Collaborate with mechanical and software engineering teams to ensure proper system integration
- Implement technical improvements and modifications based on project requirements and feedback
- Diagnose and resolve electrical faults during both development and deployment phases
- Travel to customer sites for installation and support (approximately 25-50% travel)
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications:
- Completed technical training as a State-certified Technician in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or Automation, or comparable vocational qualification (Electrician, Control Cabinet Builder, Electrical Master)
- Certified to perform electrical work (Elektrofachkraft – EFK)
- Valid Class B driver's license (EU)
- Willingness to travel 25-50% of the time
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Professional experience in automation or robotics environments
- Hands-on experience with electrical installations, control systems, sensors, and actuators
- Strong technical craftsmanship and practical problem-solving abilities
- Basic knowledge of EPLAN or similar electrical design software is a plus
