About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential beauty and e-commerce organization based in Berlin. Our client is seeking an Accountant to join their finance team in a hybrid capacity. This role offers the opportunity to work with a growing company that values sustainability, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day financial operations including bookkeeping, invoicing, and payment processing
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements preparation in accordance with HGB (German GAAP)
- Support during statutory audits and ensure compliance with tax and legal regulations
- Support the implementation of ERP systems and establish new processes and workflows from the ground up
- Collaborate cross-functionally to provide financial insights to other departments
What We're Looking For
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in general ledger accounting
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and hands-on mentality
- Process-driven approach with enthusiasm for building new projects and workflows from scratch
- Solid knowledge of German GAAP (HGB)
- Experience with Oracle NetSuite is a plus
- E-commerce experience is a plus
- Fluent in English; German, Italian, French, or Spanish are a plus
Location: Berlin, Germany (Hybrid – 3 days in office)
