Consulting Engineer

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential enterprise software organization in their search for a Consulting Engineer based remotely in The Netherlands, The United Kingdom, Germany, or France. This role serves as a technical authority and escalation resource for complex sales opportunities, partnering across departments to achieve revenue goals.

In this position, you will:

• Provide technical consultation and escalation support for sales and cross-functional teams on strategic enterprise opportunities
• Lead responses to complex RFPs requiring comprehensive Apple enterprise expertise
• Deliver technical presentations and executive workshops for enterprise prospects and customers
• Collaborate with Sales, Professional Services, and Product teams to architect custom enterprise solutions spanning device management, endpoint security, and network security
• Build and maintain strategic partner relationships with complementary solution providers in the identity, security, and cloud infrastructure space
• Develop and deliver internal training on Apple enterprise best practices and emerging capabilities
• Create reusable implementation templates, automation tools, and methodologies for enterprise deployments
• Represent the organization as an Apple enterprise expert at industry events, conferences, and community forums
• Drive innovation initiatives to address gaps in current solutions and contribute to product roadmap through field feedback
• Maintain deep expertise across platform solutions for Mac, mobile, education, and small business environments

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Apple device management, endpoint security, and/or network security
• Experience working in consultative sales, pre-sales engineering, or technical sales support roles
• Advanced knowledge of Apple Enterprise Management technologies, endpoint protection, identity management, and zero-trust network architectures
• Experience responding to RFPs and developing comprehensive solution proposals
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business outcomes for executives and decision-makers
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• Comfortable engaging with personnel ranging from technical to executive positions
• Secondary school diploma or equivalent
• Current work authorization for The Netherlands, The United Kingdom, Germany, or France

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
• Advanced knowledge of IT ecosystem and key partner integrations including Apple, Okta, Microsoft, CrowdStrike, Zscaler, and SIEM/SOAR platforms
• Specialized expertise in at least 2 areas: endpoint security architectures, identity and access management, zero-trust network architectures, SIEM/SOAR integration, API development and automation frameworks, Infrastructure as Code, or emerging technologies
• Familiarity with scripting languages (Go, Python, PowerShell, bash, Terraform, Ansible) and Apple developer languages (Swift, SwiftUI, Objective-C)
• Strong workshop and facilitation skills
• Experience identifying solution gaps and proposing innovative implementations
• Active participation in the Apple enterprise community through conferences, forums, user groups, or thought leadership
• Relevant industry certifications in enterprise device management or security

Additional requirements:

• Ability to travel approximately 20% of the year for customer visits, conferences, or internal events
• Flexibility to accommodate regional business needs and collaboration with global teams
