About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential electric vehicle company in their search for a Senior Performance Marketing Executive to take ownership of B2C paid digital campaigns. This hands-on role focuses on making every marketing pound work harder through smart optimisation, testing, and data-driven decision-making.

You'll own day-to-day paid media activity with a core focus on paid search, while helping to explore and scale complementary channels including Paid Social, Display, and Programmatic. This position sits within the B2C Growth team and collaborates closely with Content, Design, Commercial, and wider Marketing colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Build, manage and optimise campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and Meta, with paid search as your primary focus
  • Identify wasted spend and underperforming campaigns, providing clear recommendations on budget allocation
  • Optimise towards quality outcomes by analysing which campaigns and audiences drive better customers and orders, not just clicks and leads
  • Develop Display and Programmatic opportunities across prospecting and retargeting, shaping audiences and creative approaches
  • Monitor spend pacing and key metrics daily, spotting changes quickly and translating numbers into actionable recommendations
  • Test messaging, creative formats, audiences and landing-page approaches in collaboration with Content and Design teams
  • Maintain clean campaign structures with proper tracking, UTMs, audiences and naming conventions
  • Support post-click experiences by drafting copy and building or updating campaign landing pages
  • Coordinate briefs, creative assets, links, tracking and launches to ensure timely campaign delivery

What We're Looking For

  • Strong hands-on paid search experience building and optimising Google Ads campaigns independently, including search terms, match types, bidding strategies and campaign structure
  • Performance-oriented mindset that naturally questions: Where's the wasted spend? What needs improvement? What should we test?
  • Commercial judgment to look beyond cheapest clicks and leads toward what actually drives quality customers and orders
  • Confidence managing paid media budgets, monitoring pacing and recommending spend adjustments
  • Hands-on Display or Programmatic experience with platforms like DV360, Campaign Manager 360 or similar tools
  • Paid social experience with Meta Ads Manager or comparable platforms
  • Technical comfort with conversion tracking, UTMs, audience setup, naming conventions and data analysis
  • Approximately 2-4 years hands-on performance marketing experience, ideally from agency or fast-paced in-house environments
  • Proactive attitude, commercial thinking, and collaborative approach in fast-moving environments where priorities shift
  • Genuine enjoyment of in-platform work, optimisation and continuous improvement
