(Senior) Associate Venture Development (w/m/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential cleantech scale-up in Berlin that is expanding its B2B operations team. This is a high-impact role where you'll build and optimize processes for a rapidly growing business unit serving trade professionals in the renewable energy sector.

Our client operates at the intersection of hardware distribution, intelligent software platforms, and energy market optimization. You'll join a diverse, international team driving real operational excellence in a mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and optimize processes, structures, and operational workflows, deriving concrete improvement measures
• Structure complex questions, conduct root-cause analyses, and develop pragmatic and creative solutions
• Manage projects and process optimizations end-to-end—from concept and prioritization through implementation and sustainable integration
• Define KPIs, reporting frameworks, and dashboards that generate clear action items from performance data
• Drive cross-functional alignment and create consensus between different interests and departments
• Translate requirements between Operations, Product, Tech, and Sales, establishing clear priorities and next steps
• Prepare complex topics in a structured, decision-oriented manner for stakeholders and executive leadership

What We're Looking For

• 2–4 years of relevant professional experience in start-ups/scale-ups, management consulting, venture building, VC/PE, or comparable dynamic environments
• Strong analytical capabilities combined with creativity and entrepreneurial spirit; able to find pragmatic solutions even with unclear requirements
• Drive and ownership mindset; you independently and consistently deliver results
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills; comfortable navigating complex, cross-functional setups
• Experience with project and process work, including KPI setup, reporting, and dashboard development
• Ability to structure and prioritize requirements across Operations, Product, Tech, and Sales functions
• Fluent German and English required
