Einkauf Werkstudent (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential online grocery client seeking a working student (Werkstudent) to support their procurement operations in Düsseldorf. In this role, you will serve as the operational backbone of the procurement team, working 16-20 hours per week.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Product Creation & Onboarding: You will manage the setup and creation of new products in the system, ensuring all necessary information is accurate and ready for customers from day one.
• Tool Support & Validation: You will support the implementation and use of automation tools, critically questioning processes and ensuring system outputs are correct through quality control.
• Product Performance Monitoring: You will track sales and inventory anomalies, investigating system issues when high-priority items show as unavailable or underperform to maximize digital shelf revenue.
• Content & Storefront Optimization: You will quickly address incomplete product presentations that hinder sales, such as missing product photos or incomplete item information.
• Supply Chain & Inbound Coordination: You will support the team with daily commercial supply chain questions and resolve product delivery issues to ensure smooth operations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: You will provide strong operational support across various priority levels, working closely with category teams and other departments to balance daily tasks effectively.

What We're Looking For

• Advanced Bachelor's degree or currently pursuing a Master's in Business Administration, E-Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a comparable field of study
• Sharp attention to detail, strong logical thinking, and natural curiosity to look behind the scenes and solve operational challenges
• Excellent organizational skills, proactive attitude toward taking responsibility, and comfort with daily workflows
• Genuine affinity for the food industry and enthusiasm for working with new software systems
• Availability to support the team for 16-20 hours per week
• Fluent German and English language skills

Pay

Our client offers €14.75/hour for Bachelor students and €15.50/hour for Master students. This is the direct compensation from the employer.
