E-Commerce Werkstudent (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential online grocery client seeking a working student (Werkstudent) to support their e-commerce operations team. In this role, you will serve as the operational backbone of a team managing digital product catalogs across multiple regions.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Product Creation & Onboarding: Create and onboard new products in the system, ensuring all necessary information is accurate and ready for customers from day one.
• Tool Support & Validation: Support the implementation and use of automation tools. Act as a quality control checkpoint, critically reviewing processes and validating system outputs for accuracy.
• Product Performance Monitoring: Monitor sales and inventory anomalies. When high-priority items show as unavailable or underperform, investigate root causes to maximize digital shelf performance.
• Content & Storefront Optimization: Respond quickly to incomplete product presentations that hinder sales by resolving issues like missing product photos or incomplete item information.
• Supply Chain & Inbound Coordination: Support the team with daily commercial supply chain questions and resolve product delivery issues to ensure smooth operations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Provide strong operational support across varying priority levels, working closely with category, brand, and cross-functional teams to balance daily tasks effectively.

What We're Looking For

• Advanced Bachelor's degree or currently pursuing a Master's in Business Administration, E-Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Economics, or a comparable field of study
• Sharp attention to detail, strong logical reasoning, and natural curiosity to look behind the scenes and solve operational challenges
• Excellent organizational skills, proactive attitude toward taking ownership, and comfort managing daily workflows
• Genuine affinity for the food retail industry and enthusiasm for working with new software systems
• Availability to support the team for 16-20 hours per week
• Fluent German and English language skills
