Fast Track to Leadership Trainee

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential logistics organization seeking a Fast Track to Leadership Trainee to join their Supply Chain and Operations team in Hannover. This accelerated two-year development program is designed for recent graduates ready to take on immediate responsibility and grow into an Operations Manager role.

Year 1: Operations Supervisor - Building Your Foundation

• Lead operational shifts in the fulfillment environment 3-4 days per week, managing teams and coordinating daily workflows
• Plan, organize, and execute shift operations while making real-time decisions that directly impact team performance
• Develop leadership capabilities through structured mentoring, feedback training, and coaching programs
• Identify optimization opportunities and implement improvement projects 1-2 days per week to enhance productivity and eliminate bottlenecks
• Build a strong internal network and gain comprehensive knowledge of fulfillment center operations

Year 2: Operations Manager - Expanding Your Impact

• Take on responsibilities at different locations, potentially including national or international assignments
• Lead cross-location strategic initiatives focused on process optimization and supply chain improvements
• Continue operational involvement with 1-2 shift days per week while dedicating 3-4 days to project work
• Support new facility implementations and automation initiatives using your operational expertise
• Apply analytical skills to elevate supply chain performance across multiple sites

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field - recently completed or within 6 months of completion
• Practical experience in supply chain environments through internships or working student positions
• Fluent German and strong English language skills
• Enthusiasm for taking on team leadership responsibilities early in your career
• Hands-on mentality with proven ability to transform ideas into successful projects
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to identify problems proactively
• Flexibility to work in both office and warehouse environments, including shift work
• Motivation to lead, develop, and inspire team members
