Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential aerospace manufacturing organization seeking an NDT Inspector for their facilities in Ottobrunn and Parsdorf, Bavaria. In this role, you will conduct non-destructive testing on advanced materials and contribute to both serial production quality assurance and development projects.

Your core responsibilities include:

  • Preparing for inspections by reviewing technical drawings, selecting appropriate standards, and calibrating testing equipment
  • Performing non-destructive material testing on metallic and non-metallic materials including carbon fiber composites, adhesive bonds, welds, and additively manufactured components according to applicable norms and specifications
  • Evaluating test results in compliance with relevant standards and specifications
  • Creating comprehensive, traceable documentation of all non-destructive testing results
  • Interpreting and communicating identified defects to cross-functional teams
  • Pursuing ongoing professional development and certification in NDT equipment and emerging methods
  • Planning, executing, and documenting inspections for prototypes and special components
  • Maintaining safety and cleanliness standards in NDT areas, documenting non-conformities, monitoring inspection equipment, and organizing equipment storage

What We're Looking For

  • Successfully completed vocational training in materials testing or comparable qualification, or relevant experience in plastics or metal processing
  • Initial professional experience in non-destructive testing, or entry-level candidates with exceptional prior performance
  • Testing and evaluation capabilities at component and material level
  • UT Level 2 and/or PT Level 2 qualification and certification according to EN 4179 or DIN EN ISO 9712 strongly preferred
  • Very high quality consciousness and attention to detail
  • Resilience, flexibility, and strong teamwork skills
  • High motivation to tackle complex technical challenges
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • Fluent German language skills required; English proficiency at B2 level
