About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential entertainment organization seeking a Rechtsreferendar:in (m/w/d) for their Legal & Business Affairs team. This remote position is based in Berlin and available from July 2027 for 3-month rotations on a full-time basis.

If you're passionate about the legal framework behind the entertainment industry and are completing your legal traineeship (Referendariat), our client offers an excellent environment to apply your skills in media and commercial law.

Responsibilities

• Review and supplement existing contracts and agreements, including artist contracts, recording rights agreements, and broadcast licensing arrangements
• Draft legal opinions and prepare contract negotiations
• Support projects involving trademark law, copyright law, and unfair competition regulations (UWG)
• Collaborate with business teams on legal matters affecting operations

What We're Looking For

• Current legal trainee (Referendar:in) with focus on media law or commercial law
• Seeking to complete your elective station (Wahlstation) with relevant prior internship experience preferred
• Strong command of German and English, both written and spoken
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 suite
• Analytical thinking and structured working approach
• Goal-oriented, enthusiastic, and strong communication skills
