Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential healthcare consulting organization seeking a Hospital Consultant with a focus on Controlling in Cologne. In this role, you will develop practical solutions for budgeting and financial management questions together with hospital clients, support the advancement of their controlling processes, and contribute to strategic development.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Analyzing performance, revenue, and cost data for healthcare facilities
• Providing consulting and support on financial and controlling matters
• Contributing to the development of cost center and cost unit accounting systems
• Supporting the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• Preparing and accompanying budget and fee negotiations
• Participating in the development of new consulting offerings and service areas
• Representing the consulting team in client meetings, professional discussions, and industry events

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Health Economics, or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in hospital controlling or healthcare consulting
• Initial knowledge and experience with budget and fee negotiations in the hospital sector
• Strong communication skills, confident presence, and excellent organizational abilities
• Entrepreneurial thinking, initiative, and a structured, solution-oriented work approach
• Openness to new topics and challenges in the healthcare sector
• German language proficiency required for client-facing work

This position is available in full-time or part-time capacity.
