New Business Director

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential global marketing services organization in their search for a New Business Director based in London. This is a hybrid role requiring approximately four days per week in the office.

Our client operates at the intersection of creative, production, and technology, delivering integrated content solutions at scale for world-leading brands. This senior leadership position will shape growth strategy, lead high-value pitches, and drive client relationships across global markets.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead strategic direction for priority, high-value new business opportunities
• Own narrative quality and strategic standards across assigned pitches, setting the benchmark for value articulation
• Design end-to-end client solutions including operating models, pricing approaches, and value propositions
• Partner with senior leadership to define and drive global growth strategy, identifying priority markets and opportunity types
• Act as trusted advisor to senior clients, providing strategic insights that align production strategy with business objectives
• Drive improved conversion, efficiency, and revenue impact across the new business pipeline
• Build and scale a repeatable growth engine with frameworks, playbooks, and best practices for global teams
• Present and represent the organization in senior client and pitch meetings
• Drive cross-functional integration across media, creative, production, and technology capabilities
• Support financial performance through collaboration on P&Ls, budgets, forecasting, and profit levers
• Lead innovation in growth practices, including exploring AI and new technologies to enhance team capability
• Develop team capability through coaching, mentoring, and training

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in new business, growth, client leadership, or strategy roles within creative, production, or agency environments
• Exceptional strategic thinking with proven ability to define and win complex opportunities
• Outstanding writing and storytelling ability, with experience leading narrative development for high-value, multi-disciplinary pitches
• Proven track record leading large, complex, high-value pitch processes involving multiple stakeholders
• Expert client relationship skills in multi-stakeholder, matrix environments with demonstrated success driving client satisfaction
• Confident communicator with experience presenting to senior clients and influencing at leadership level
• Ability to manage multiple high-stakes opportunities simultaneously under pressure
• Strong understanding of integrated marketing ecosystems including media, creative, technology, and production
• Experience operating effectively in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
• Proactive, solutions-driven mindset with strong ownership and accountability
• Experience developing and mentoring teams to build capability and scale impact
• Curiosity about innovation, AI, and the future of content production
