Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a leading digital mental health provider in the United Kingdom. Our client delivers specialist care to children, teenagers, and adults through innovative telehealth platforms, working with both private and NHS patients across the country.

We are seeking an ADHD Specialist Independent Prescriber to join their growing clinical team. This is a fully remote, home-based role offering genuine work-life balance with flexible scheduling between 8am-8pm, Monday through Friday. You'll manage a sustainable caseload while delivering high-quality, patient-centred ADHD treatment and medication management for adults.

Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based prescribing for adult ADHD patients in line with NICE guidelines and clinical best practices
  • Manage an independent caseload during titration and ongoing treatment phases, monitoring treatment effectiveness, side effects, and patient adherence
  • Communicate with patients through secure digital platforms, responding to medication-related queries with clear clinical guidance
  • Complete end-of-titration reviews and conduct annual medication reviews in a timely, thorough manner
  • Exercise independent or supplementary prescribing rights within your scope of practice, escalating complex cases appropriately
  • Collaborate with Consultant Psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated care
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and review safeguarding concerns, escalating in line with organisational policy
  • Maintain accurate, confidential clinical records using digital health systems
  • Participate in audits, quality improvement activities, and clinical governance initiatives
  • Engage in regular clinical supervision and contribute to service development and refinement of prescribing protocols

What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements:

  • First-level registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) OR First-level registered nurse (Adult/Children's/Learning Disabilities) with one year post-qualification secondary mental health experience or further mental health qualification
  • Independent & Supplementary Non-Medical Prescribing (V300) qualification
  • Minimum 1 year post-prescribing qualification experience
  • 1 year experience in a specialist ADHD service (private or NHS secondary mental health) with prescribing responsibilities including medication initiation, titration, review, and long-term management
  • Sound clinical knowledge of ADHD management in adults, including familiarity with ADHD rating scales and validated monitoring tools
  • Strong patient-centred approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage an independent caseload efficiently
  • Advanced IT and digital literacy for confident use of digital health platforms
  • Understanding of safeguarding procedures, particularly in remote healthcare settings
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, professional standards, and current ADHD service provision developments

Desirable:

  • Further relevant training or qualifications in mental health or neurodevelopmental conditions
  • Experience with remote clinical service delivery or digital healthcare environments
  • Knowledge of clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement processes related to prescribing
  • Experience with titration and long-term management of both stimulant and non-stimulant ADHD medications

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: £61,000 per annum (full-time equivalent) plus £1,000 per annum work-from-home allowance.
