Senior Economy Designer

About This Opportunity

Our talent team is representing a confidential mobile gaming publisher seeking a Senior Economy Designer to own RPG monetization architecture across multiple live titles. This is not a supporting role—you will design, balance, and scale the core economic systems that determine whether games plateau or break into global top-grossing charts.

You will work remotely from France, partnering directly with studios and publishing teams to translate complex economy frameworks into clear, executable strategies. This is a rare opportunity to own economy design across a portfolio simultaneously, making measurable impact on revenue and player engagement KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable RPG economy systems that serve as replicable strategic assets across multiple titles
• Own the economic impact of every product feature: assess KPI implications pre-launch, produce risk-adjusted roadmaps, and ensure teams understand what's at stake
• Define pricing, sink/source balancing, and offer targeting strategies that drive IAP conversion and long-term engagement
• Build economy simulations and data models; own all quantitative economy work from raw data analysis to live balancing decisions
• Partner with distributed studio and publishing teams to implement economy frameworks without friction

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Direct end-to-end ownership of a free-to-play RPG economy (not just sub-loop contributions)
• Strong data analysis skills with SQL proficiency; ability to read game data and translate it into clear economic decisions
• Hands-on execution mindset—you implement and iterate, not just hand off frameworks
• Structured thinking with clear documentation; your outputs must be legible and actionable for studios
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for aligning remote, distributed teams

Bonus:

• Python or R experience for economic modeling and simulation
• Basic Unity knowledge for direct studio collaboration
• Experience on titles with significant IAP revenue in top-200 grossing RPG charts
• AI-native workflow: actively using AI to build models, speed up analysis, and multiply output
