About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential performance marketing agency seeking a Designer, Social & Brand to own their visual presence across social platforms. This is a high-output, fully remote role working EST hours (9 AM–5 PM) available to candidates in Brazil, Portugal, or Spain.

You will be the creative force behind how our client shows up on Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and X — designing carousels, static posts, story templates, short-form video graphics, and campaign visuals that stop the scroll. This is not a role for decorative design; you'll need to understand platform behavior, format constraints, and visual rhythm as storytelling tools.

Beyond social, you'll design case studies, presentations, and marketing collateral while maintaining and evolving the brand system in Figma.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end social content pipeline: planning, narrative, storyboard, design, and iteration through approvals across Instagram (priority), LinkedIn, TikTok, and X
• Design carousels, static posts, story templates, and short-form video graphics at a consistent weekly cadence — building repeatable visual systems and content series rather than one-offs
• Hit content velocity targets while maintaining quality; consistency and volume both matter
• Stay current on platform specifications and in-feed trends, applying insights to every asset
• Track performance and iterate based on results; diagnose what works and what doesn't, then adjust
• Design case study visuals that turn client results into compelling proof points for sales and social
• Create assets for internal and external presentations: decks, pitch materials, and thought leadership visuals
• Maintain and evolve the Figma-based brand system — templates, asset libraries, and scalable components
• Support identity extensions as needed: event branding, merchandise, and co-marketing materials
• Manage your own workstreams, flag blockers early, and deliver on deadline

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in brand, marketing, or visual design with a portfolio that leads with social work — carousel systems, content series, platform-native creative (if your book is mostly logos and brand guides, this isn't the right fit)
• Demonstrated understanding of how design performs on social: thumb-stops, pacing, format constraints, platform behavior
• Advanced fluency in Figma — you build scalable components, organize files meticulously, and work efficiently with shared libraries
• Strong typography and layout instincts across formats; a carousel slide and a presentation deck should both feel elevated
• You're a designer first who specializes in social, not a social media generalist who picked up design tools
• You understand that a carousel is a storytelling format, not a slide deck shrunk down, and that a LinkedIn post image has a different job than an Instagram Reel cover
• Organized, accountable, and able to communicate your design thinking clearly
• Comfortable working EST hours (9 AM–5 PM) remotely from Brazil, Portugal, or Spain
