Full Stack Engineer

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech client operating across multiple markets. They are building a next-generation financial platform and are expanding their engineering team in Spain. We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer who thrives in fast-paced product environments and can ship features end-to-end.

This is a remote role based in Spain. Candidates must already be located in Spain.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship complete product features across frontend, backend, APIs and databases
• Create customer-facing and internal workflows for onboarding, accounts, payments, rewards, support automation, KYC and risk management
• Transform ambiguous product requirements into working systems with clean user experiences and reliable backend logic
• Collaborate closely with product, design, mobile, backend and AI engineering teams to launch quickly and iterate based on user feedback
• Develop internal tools and automation that reduce manual operations and help teams scale efficiently
• Own your work beyond initial release: monitor production systems, debug issues, and continuously improve based on real-world performance

What We're Looking For

• Strong full stack engineering experience with demonstrable shipped products in production
• Comfort working across frontend, backend, APIs, databases and production debugging environments
• Solid frontend development skills using React, Next.js, Vue or similar modern JavaScript frameworks
• Strong backend fundamentals including API design, data modeling, authentication, third-party integrations and system reliability
• Product sense and ability to simplify complex workflows into elegant solutions
• Ability to work effectively with ambiguity and own outcomes from concept to production
• Strong English communication skills (primary working language across global teams)
• Must already be based in Spain

This role is not suitable for: Engineers who prefer working on a single technical layer, those who require complete specifications before starting, developers who don't consider backend or operations impact, candidates who avoid production support responsibilities, or applicants who cannot demonstrate shipped work.
