About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential technology company in the travel sector, and our talent team is seeking a Senior People Partner to join their growing organization in Berlin. This is an exciting opportunity to shape people strategy within high-performing Engineering and Product teams at a fast-scaling business.

As the first dedicated People Partner in this function, you will work closely with leadership to build strategic partnerships, develop talent programs, and create meaningful employee experiences during a period of significant growth.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the founding People Partner, working with senior leadership to understand and advance current people philosophies, practices, and processes
• Partner strategically with Engineering and Product leadership to achieve sustainable growth and development objectives
• Collaborate across People functions to enhance the full employment experience
• Build management capability through targeted coaching and influencing initiatives
• Contribute to functional strategy and shape the direction of the People Business Partner function
• Drive excellence in talent support, motivation, retention, and development programs

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience in People Business Partner roles within Germany or the broader European region
• Proven track record supporting and developing functions during high-growth phases
• Outstanding judgment with consistent decision-making that balances company and employee needs
• Firsthand experience navigating growth-stage company challenges with adaptability and curiosity
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with experience designing and implementing people programs
• Strong leadership qualities and project management experience
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and people analytics KPIs
• Keen interest in leveraging AI and emerging technologies in people operations
• Effective communication skills across all stakeholder levels
• Fluency in English, both verbal and written
• Passion for people development, enablement, and success
• Hands-on approach with ambition to drive meaningful impact

Work Environment

This role is based in Berlin with a hybrid working model. Our client operates as a remote-first organization with global teams and a headquarters office in Berlin where teams regularly collaborate in person.
