Bilingual Licensed Insurance Advisor

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential digital insurance organization that is transforming how Canadians access coverage. Our client is seeking a Bilingual Licensed Insurance Advisor to join their remote-first team and help customers navigate life, critical illness, and health & dental insurance options.

This is not your traditional insurance advisor role. You'll work exclusively with warm inbound leads—no cold calling or prospecting required. You'll be supported by a high-performing growth team and have the opportunity to contribute to product innovation and process improvement across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Guide prospective clients through insurance options in both French and English via phone, email, and SMS
• Manage a pipeline of 300–350 qualified inbound leads monthly
• Use CRM tools to track conversations, follow-ups, and application stages
• Provide consultative recommendations based on customer needs using a clear, honest approach
• Address customer questions related to coverage needs, product details, and the insurance process
• Maintain high service quality across all communication channels
• Collaborate with teammates to improve workflows and enhance the customer experience
• Depending on team assignment, focus may include converting new customers or supporting renewals and existing policyholders

What We're Looking For

• Required: Bilingual fluency in French and English (written and verbal)
• Required: Valid LLQP license as a Life and Accident & Sickness insurance agent
• Open to obtaining Quebec licensing if not currently licensed there
• 1–4 years of experience in insurance or a related consultative sales environment
• Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
• Strong organizational skills with experience managing high-volume pipelines
• Ability to explain complex concepts clearly and manage objections effectively
• Natural conversationalist who builds rapport and makes clients feel heard
• High empathy and discretion when discussing personal and financial matters
• Coachable mindset with a strong desire to learn and improve
• Growth-oriented with ability to adapt to change and contribute to continuous improvement

Pay

Our client offers a total target cash compensation of $88,000 CAD (including OTE) with earnings potential up to $120,000 CAD based on performance. Additional benefits include 20 vacation days, comprehensive health benefits with premiums fully covered, professional development budget, stock options based on performance, and remote-first flexibility with optional office access.
